Despite his tight schedule, Vitas has found time to give an interview to our magazine.

Vitas
is recognized as a performer who has given the greatest number of
concerts in Russia, Ukraine, Kazachstan, Belorussia, Baltic Countries
and Israel among the native artists.
He is the youngest artist who
has given a solo concert on the stage of the State Kremlin Palace. He
has released 14 albums, 2 singles, has made 16 clips and become a
laureate of the festivals "The Song Of The Year" 3 times.
In 2011, he was nominated for the title "The Best Foreign Artist" according to "MTV ASIA".

Tell us about your wedding
Vitas: It took place in Odessa 6 years ago. A soul celebration of binding destinies together with a beautiful and happy bride.
What was interesting at your friends' weddings?
Vitas:
Unfortunately, I haven't been to weddings for ages. Apparently, it's
due to the society trends towards the decreasing of the number of
official ceremonies, or my tight schedule. As for me, I always call upon
young boys and girls to register officially their relationships. In my
opinion, life together disenchants relations and implies fleeting.
What, in your opinion, is the secret of a happy marriage?
Vitas: Love. The one and for whole life.
Do you have any family traditions?
Vitas:
Yes, I always celebrate New Year in the family circle. We set a
New-Year Tree and get all the attributes of this finist holiday.
There
has been one more family tradition over the last three happy years: to
celebrate the birthday of our daughter-Allochka together. This is the
most important and favourite event in my life.
What is a real rest like for you?
Vitas:
You know, due to my active lifestyle and my age, I don't want to ponder
over this seriously now. Rest for me means a full life, and such life
is possible when you are happy. And there is no need to set a gradation
here: I'm happy on holiday, and I'm not at work.
What qualities should your spouse have?
Vitas:
Such qualities as understanding, intimacy and faithfulness create
high-grade family relationships. But the main thing, as I've already
mentioned and I'll repeat it again, is love. This is the most
multifaceted and strongest feeling in our life.
Your wishes to newlyweds
Vitas:
I am for an official marriage. Only in such a family, you can have
stable and harmonious relationships. Keep and save them by every means,
and I wish everybody who has read my interview love, happiness and again
love.
